Coby Blystone

Coby began his career early, starting a successful e-commerce business in high school. As a lover of learning, he went on to complete a bachelor’s degree where he found his passion for finance. Coby decided to pursue his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Chartered Life Underwriter® designations to raise the bar in developing effective solutions for clients. At the time of his appointment, Coby became the youngest CFP® professional at IG Wealth Management. He is currently on track to finish his TEP designation to specialize in trusts and estates for high-net-worth clients. With this, he wants to empower clients to feel confident about their financial well-being and strives to build relationships through a reputation of respect, professionalism, and integrity.

Coby was born and raised in Summerland, BC until he moved to Kelowna to attend the Okanagan School of Business. Coby is a past executive member for JCI Kelowna, past committee member for the Kelowna Walk for Alzheimer's, and current president for Advocis (Thompson Okanagan). He enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle in the Okanagan where he plays hockey, soccer, cycling, snowshoeing, and skiing. In his downtime, you'll find him making his own craft beer or relaxing with his Aussie Bernedoodle.
